Words from Words challenges you to extract as many words as possible from a single given word. The premise is simple, but the depth hiding inside everyday vocabulary is genuinely surprising — "example" contains 29 words, "maverick" holds 71, and "chalkboard" stores as many as 142. One scene shows a yellow winding path connecting circular nodes numbered 1 through 7 across a green landscape with turquoise and dark green pine trees. Another scene places word grids against purplish silhouetted mountain ranges and multiple large circular celestial bodies. A third shows a dark brown tree trunk with snow-capped branches framing the right side of a snowy forest scene.

How to Play Words from Words

Click on the letters to assemble words from the available set. The goal is straightforward: form as many different words as you are able to. Only common nouns count, so proper names and other word types are off the table. Clicking on a completed word reveals its definition, making the game useful for expanding vocabulary as well as testing it. The more words you find, the better your result.
