Noob Sandbox
About Noob Sandbox: Open World Crafting with Friends
Noob Sandbox drops Nubik into a procedurally generated open world where every session is shaped differently, giving each player their own distinct terrain to explore. The game draws direct comparisons to Minecraft in spirit and to Terraria and Noob Miner in its 2D perspective. Several scenes show the character wielding a grey pickaxe with a brown handle. Green chests with yellow latches appear inside dark earthen corridors across multiple views of the world. In one scene, a vertical structure built from dark brown textured blocks stands between two flowers.
The world supports online multiplayer at any time, so friends can join and dig, build, and blow things up together. Chests buried underground hold treasure, and the deeper the chest, the richer its contents. A procedurally generated world means no two players start with the same map.
How to Play Noob Sandbox: Dig, Craft, and Complete Quests
The core loop involves digging the ground, chopping trees, extracting resources, crafting tools and items, and detonating TNT dynamite. Open the inventory and drag blocks and tools into the pocket slots at the bottom right to equip them. Click a pocket slot to free your hands from the current item. Craft new items and plant trees through the Craft menu. Noob starts with a limited set of recipes, but completing Grandpa's quests unlocks new ones. For buried treasure, dig deeper — chests found further underground contain more valuable loot.
In multiplayer, any player can connect and join the world. Through the settings and the main menu, the host can disable world editing and toggle whether the server appears in the Connect menu listing.
