About Needlework: Cross Stitch Embroidery Patterns
Needlework is a cross stitch embroidery game where placing colored stitches in the right cells on a canvas builds up vibrant, detailed patterns. The game trains concentration and attentiveness while keeping things engaging across every available design. One scene shows a blue character with large ears and a pink belly, assembled entirely from blue, pink, black, and white X-shaped marks. Another renders a dripping purple face with green eyes and red highlights on a grid using cross-stitch textures. A third presents a blue and purple shark-like figure whose white and grey underside is built from individual textured colored squares.
How to Play Needlework: Place Stitches and Complete Patterns
The goal is to place all the colored stitches in their correct positions on the canvas to complete every available embroidery pattern. A large selection of patterns is included in the game. To build your own design, tap the "Create" button on the main menu.
Controls
- Select thread color: Tap or click the desired color at the bottom of the screen
- Place a stitch: Click on the highlighted cell on the canvas
- Zoom in/out (phone): Pinch two fingers together to enlarge or reduce the canvas
- Zoom in/out (computer): Use the mouse wheel to enlarge or shrink the canvas
