About Earth Defense: Protect Earth from a Meteorite Swarm

Earth Defense puts you in charge of the planet's last line of protection against a meteorite swarm that has traveled from beyond the Solar System, bringing genuine danger along with the shooting stars. The goal is straightforward and urgent: keep those threats from reaching Earth by deploying combat satellites in orbit. Several scenes show small blue and yellow spacecraft orbiting a central globe that depicts Earth's continents and clouds. In one scene, a glowing sphere with orange and yellow clouds appears among grey-brown irregular rocky bodies drifting nearby.

How to Play Earth Defense: Launch Satellites and Unlock Upgrades

The core objective is to shield Earth from incoming space threats by launching combat satellites. The satellites themselves cannot be destroyed, but Earth can only absorb a limited number of hits, so preventing enemies from reaching the planet is essential.

Progression and Unlocks

• Most satellites and abilities are locked at the start of the first game.
• After each completion of the game, points are awarded that can be spent to unlock satellites and abilities, as well as improve certain characteristics that carry into all subsequent games.
• Destroying enemies earns experience, and reaching a new level grants the opportunity to improve a characteristic or ability.
• Level-up upgrades are free but last only until the end of the current game.
