Dreamland Solitaire
About Dreamland Solitaire: Classic Solitaire in a Magical World
Dreamland Solitaire is a card game built on classic solitaire rules, set inside a magical world where clearing the playing field also uncovers gold coins and mana bubbles hidden beneath the cards. The goal is to remove cards in rank order — one step up or one step down from the current top card — opening face-down cards as you go and gathering resources along the way. Several scenes show large tan-colored stones forming a wall and walkway beside a blue stream and waterfall. A stone bridge with red banners featuring yellow crosses spans a body of water in several scenes as well. In one scene, a small purple and black spider sits on a web over a card.
How to Play Dreamland Solitaire: Remove Cards and Collect Resources
A card can be removed from the field and placed on the deck when it is one rank higher or one rank lower than the card currently on top of the deck. Suit does not matter. Removing a card that hides a resource — gold coins or mana bubbles — delivers that resource to you immediately. Resources are used to purchase bonuses and customize locations.
Special Cards
- Wild-card: Place it on the pile of collected cards out of order to continue collecting.
- Joker: Replaces any required card. Passive bonuses increase the frequency of Joker appearances.
Bonuses
- Active bonuses: Buy with gold, then activate by collecting suits; effects include shuffling the deck or removing a card.
- Passive bonuses: Buy with resources and act constantly after purchase, increasing the chance of Wild-cards and Jokers appearing.
Game Modes
- Classic: Standard solitaire with resources and bonuses.
- Time-Limited: Clear all cards before the timer runs out; bonuses and special cards are critical here.
- Simple (Relaxed): Uses a double deck for a slower, self-paced game.
