Cars for two: Competitions
About Cars for two: Competitions: Tournament Racing with Drift, Football, and Billiards
Cars for two: Competitions is built around the idea of staging your own mini-tournament with a friend on the same computer. Two players share one keyboard — or bring a second one for extra comfort — and compete across four distinct racing modes, each on its own map. The game draws on elements from Flatout and Angry Birds, and mixes drift racing with football, billiards, and stunt mechanics. Points are tallied across all modes, and the player with the most at the end of the tournament wins. Solo play against the computer is also available.
One scene shows an orange car and a green car emitting white cloud-shaped puffs while angled on a dark track surface. Another moment features a dark pickup truck with its front hood raised, positioned near a large black-and-white soccer ball. A third scene presents large red and green spherical balls with white caps arranged on a blue surface in the billiard mode.
How to Play Cars for two: Competitions
The overall goal is to accumulate the most points by the end of the tournament. Before racing begins, choose which modes (maps) to include and add them to the list. Each map victory earns a player one point; a draw also awards a point to both. After all modes are completed, points are summed to reveal the tournament winner.
Drift Mode
- Arrive first and earn as many drift points as possible
- Drift points are awarded only for drifting on the road
- Finishing first adds +10% to drift points; finishing second leaves 10 seconds on the clock
Football Mode
- First to score 3 winning goals takes the mode
- Use hits with doors, hood, and catapult to strike the ball
Billiard Mode
- Pocket all the balls of your color before your opponent does
Stunt Mode (Basketball)
- After a hit, the ring turns off
- The dummy throw depends on car speed and launch angle
- Control the dummy while it is in flight
