Best Solitaire Games: Spider
About Best Solitaire Games: Spider
Best Solitaire Games: Spider is an updated version of the legendary Spider Solitaire, built to deliver many hours of captivating entertainment. The game is played with a full deck of 104 cards, and the objective is to arrange every card into suit stacks running from King down to Ace. Several scenes show a green surface patterned with faint outlines of hearts, clubs, spades, diamonds, and stars beneath the card layout.
The game board fills the entire screen, displaying large, detailed cards so there is no need to strain your eyes. Progress is saved automatically, so a session can be paused and resumed at any time. A statistics tracker records games played, victories achieved, and points earned separately for each difficulty level, giving a clear picture of improvement over time.
Four difficulty levels let newcomers start easy and gradually move toward more demanding challenges, making the game a strong fit for anyone who enjoys strategic thinking and mental effort.
How to Play Best Solitaire Games: Spider: Arrange Cards from King to Ace
The 104-card deck is distributed at the start of play: 54 cards are dealt face-up across ten columns of 5–6 cards each, and the remaining 50 cards stay in the deck as a reserve. The game ends when all cards have been arranged into complete suit stacks and removed from the board, or when no further moves are possible.
Card Movement Rules
- A single card may be moved onto any card of higher rank, regardless of suit.
- Only a sequence of cards sharing the same suit can be moved together as a group.
- When a column forms a complete King-to-Ace sequence of the same suit, it is automatically removed from the board.
- An empty column that results from a removal may be filled with any available card.
Controls
- Click / Drag: Select and move a card or a same-suit sequence to another column
