Backrooms: Anomalous Racing
About Backrooms: Anomalous Racing: Crazy Arcade Racer with Realistic Car Physics
Backrooms: Anomalous Racing drops you into a genuinely unsettling setting — endless yellow walls, monochrome backgrounds, and a creepy atmosphere pulled straight from the Backrooms. The cars themselves are designed to resemble the creatures of that world, making every race feel as strange as the environment around it. Several scenes show yellow rectangular blocks stacked in horizontal rows, forming the ground and platforms you race across. In one scene, a blue vehicle is covered in intricate clusters of mushrooms and fungal growth. In another, a rusted brown hatchback displays chains hanging from its rear bumper. The whole package is a physics-based arcade racer that leans hard into the weird.
How to Play Backrooms: Anomalous Racing: Reach the Edge First
The objective is straightforward: be the first to reach the edge of the map. Along the way, run over the monsters scattered across each level — doing so earns in-game currency that can be spent on new vehicles. Race through levels in single-player mode against AI bots, or compete with a friend on the same device in split-screen multiplayer across various maps. The game also includes achievements and a global leaderboard.

- ↓ (Down Arrow): Blue Player move

The S and Down Arrow control scheme applies only in 2-player mode. In single-player mode on PC, controls are handled via on-screen buttons.
